Subscribing to a Plan

From Trial

  1. Click "Upgrade Now" from the trial banner or billing settings
  2. Select your desired plan
  3. Enter payment details in Stripe Checkout
  4. Confirm subscription
  5. Immediately get full plan limits

Changing Plans

Upgrade or downgrade anytime:

  • Upgrade: Immediate access to higher limits, prorated billing
  • Downgrade: New limits apply at next billing cycle
  • No penalties for plan changes

Usage Tracking

Monitor your subscription usage in real-time from the Settings → Billing page:

Email Usage

Shows emails sent vs. your monthly limit with a progress bar:

Billing Cycle & Invoices

Billing Period

All plans are billed monthly on the date you subscribed. Your next billing date is shown in settings. Email usage resets on this date.

Invoice History

View all past invoices with:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Amount charged
  • Payment status badge (Paid, Failed, Pending)
  • Download PDF option
  • View in Stripe link

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, you'll receive an email notification. Update your payment method in the customer portal to retry. Accounts with failed payments may have limited access.

Managing Your Subscription

Stripe Customer Portal

Click "Manage Plan" to access Stripe's customer portal where you can:

  • Update payment methods
  • View billing history
  • Download invoices
  • Update billing address
  • Cancel subscription

Canceling Subscription

Cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. No refunds for unused time, but you can continue using all features until the period ends.

Reactivating Subscription

If you canceled but changed your mind, reactivate before your period ends through the customer portal. After expiration, you'll need to start a new subscription (may lose historical data).

Quota Warnings

Approaching Limits

When you reach 80% of your email or lead quota, CuppaSend displays warnings:

  • Dashboard Banner: Prominent warning with usage details
  • Billing Page Alert: Detailed breakdown and upgrade option
  • Email Notification: Alert sent to your account email

At 100%: Active campaigns pause automatically. Upgrade to resume sending.

Payment Methods

CuppaSend uses Stripe for secure payment processing. Accepted methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • ACH bank transfers (US only)
  • Other Stripe-supported payment methods by region

CuppaSend never stores your payment information. All transactions are handled securely by Stripe.

Check your email and lead usage weekly to avoid hitting limits mid-campaign.

Don't wait until you hit 100%. Upgrade at 80% to ensure uninterrupted campaigns.

Delete bounced, unsubscribed, and inactive leads to free up quota without upgrading.
