Sending & Outreach Policy

Purpose
This policy sets expectations for how users may send emails or outreach messages via Cuppasend. It is designed to protect both users and system-wide deliverability.
This Policy ensures that all sending conducted through Cuppasend:
• Complies with applicable laws
• Avoids spam and abusive practices
• Maintains positive domain and IP reputation
• Protects recipients and the platform
Legal Compliance
Users must follow all communication laws including, where applicable:
- CAN-SPAM (US)
- CASL (Canada)
- PECR (UK)
- GDPR (EU)
- CCPA (California)
- Other regional marketing laws
You are responsible for determining which regulations apply to your use.
Consent & List Quality
You must ensure that your contacts have been obtained through lawful means. This includes:
Allowed:
- ✓Self-collected business leads
- ✓Public B2B contact information gathered legally
- ✓Contacts obtained with consent
Forbidden:
- ✗Purchased lists
- ✗Rented or borrowed lists
- ✗"Data dumps"
- ✗Email lists obtained without legal basis
Contact Transparency
Every email must:
- Accurately identify you or your organization
- Include a valid reply-to address
- State the purpose of the message
- Avoid false or deceptive subject lines
Impersonation of another person or brand is strictly prohibited.
Unsubscribe & Opt-Out Requirement
Recipients must be able to opt out easily. You must:
- Include an unsubscribe link or instructions
- Honor opt-outs promptly
- Not re-add unsubscribed contacts
Content Standards
You may not send content that is:
- Misleading or deceptive
- Adult, hateful, or discriminatory
- Promoting illegal activity
- Related to regulated industries without approval (crypto, gambling, medical, etc.)
Sending Behavior Rules
To protect deliverability, users must follow:
- Reasonable daily limits
- Gradual warm-up for new domains
- Avoid rapid spikes in volume
- Avoid duplicate outreach
- Avoid "email bombing" or high-frequency automation
We may enforce additional automated restrictions if necessary.
System Protection
Users may not:
- Attempt to bypass rate limits
- Use bots or scripts to force additional sending
- Attempt to hide identity or change headers
- Exploit the system to send through unauthorized servers
Monitoring & Enforcement
We may investigate activity patterns for compliance. Violations may result in:
- Warnings
- Temporary sending blocks
- Account suspension
- Permanent termination
Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was wrong, you may request review by contacting support with supporting evidence.
Policy Updates
We may revise this policy periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
