Analytics & Reporting

Track campaign performance, monitor deliverability, and make data-driven decisions with comprehensive analytics.

Analytics Overview

The Analytics dashboard provides insights into your email outreach performance across three levels: account-wide metrics, campaign-specific data, and individual lead activity.

Key Metrics

Total Campaigns

Shows active and completed campaigns. Helps you understand your overall outreach volume.

  • Active: Campaigns currently sending emails
  • Completed: Campaigns that finished their sequences

Total Emails Sent

Cumulative count of all emails sent across all campaigns and time periods. This includes initial outreach and follow-ups.

Average Open Rate

Percentage of emails opened by recipients, averaged across all campaigns.

Industry Benchmarks:

• Cold email: 15-25% is good

• 25-35% is excellent

• Below 15% needs improvement

Average Reply Rate

Percentage of emails that received responses, averaged across campaigns.

Industry Benchmarks:

• Cold email: 5-10% is good

• 10-15% is excellent

• Below 5% needs optimization

Total Leads

Shows total leads in your database and how many have engaged:

  • Active Leads: Available for campaigns
  • Replied Leads: Contacts who responded to your emails

Campaign Performance Table

View detailed metrics for each campaign:

Time Series Analysis

The performance chart shows daily email activity over time:

  • Sent: Blue line showing daily send volume
  • Opened: Green line showing daily opens
  • Clicked: Yellow line showing link clicks
  • Replied: Purple line showing replies received

Using Time Series Data

Identify trends and patterns to optimize your sending strategy:

  • • Which days get the best open rates?
  • • When do leads respond most often?
  • • Are your metrics improving or declining?
  • • How quickly do leads typically open your emails?

Deliverability Metrics

Delivered vs Bounced

Visual breakdown showing successful deliveries vs. bounces:

  • Delivered: Emails that reached the recipient's inbox
  • Bounced: Emails that failed to deliver (invalid address, full mailbox, etc.)

Delivery Rate

Percentage of emails successfully delivered. Displayed as a progress bar with color coding:

  • Green (95%+): Excellent deliverability
  • Yellow (90-95%): Good but monitor closely
  • Red (<90%): Issues need immediate attention

Bounce Rate Warning

If your bounce rate exceeds 5%, take immediate action: stop campaigns, clean your lead list, verify email addresses, and check your email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

Date Range Filters

Analyze performance over different time periods:

  • Last 7 Days: Default view, good for recent campaign performance
  • Last 30 Days: Monthly trends and patterns
  • Last 90 Days: Quarterly performance analysis
  • Last Year: Annual trends and seasonal patterns

Currently, the 7-day view is implemented. Additional ranges coming soon.

Lead-Level Analytics

Drill down into individual campaign performance to see lead-by-lead activity:

  • Which leads opened your emails?
  • Who clicked on links?
  • Which leads replied and what was the sentiment?
  • Email delivery status for each lead
  • Current sequence position (e.g., on email 2 of 4)

Access lead-level data by clicking on a campaign in the Campaigns page.

Export Reports (Coming Soon)

Future updates will include the ability to:

  • Export analytics data to CSV
  • Generate PDF reports
  • Schedule automated reports
  • Custom date range exports

Interpreting Your Data

Low Open Rates (<15%)

Possible causes: Poor subject lines, wrong timing, spam folder delivery, or bad sender reputation. Try A/B testing subjects and checking email authentication.

Good Opens but Low Replies

Your emails are reaching inboxes but the message isn't resonating. Review your email copy, value proposition, and call-to-action. Ensure you're targeting the right audience.

High Bounce Rate (>5%)

Email list quality issue. Use an email verification service before uploading leads. Remove bounced addresses immediately to protect your sender reputation.

Declining Performance Over Time

Could indicate email fatigue, list exhaustion, or sender reputation issues. Try new messaging, fresh lead sources, or give your list a break.

Best Practices

✓ Review analytics weekly

Make analytics review a regular habit. Weekly check-ins help you spot trends early and make timely adjustments.

✓ Compare campaigns

Look at multiple campaigns side-by-side to identify what works. Use high-performing campaigns as templates for future outreach.

✓ Track deliverability closely

Monitor delivery rate and bounce rate daily. These are early warning signs of sender reputation problems.

✓ Use data to iterate

Test different subject lines, send times, and email copy. Let the data guide your optimization efforts rather than guessing.

Pro Tip

Create a simple spreadsheet to track key metrics over time. Record weekly snapshots of open rate, reply rate, and bounce rate. This historical view helps you identify long-term trends that daily analytics might miss.
